Miss  Jenny Sandison photographed at her work as a typist in London which she  has undertaken whilst in this country for the forthcoming championship  at Wimbleton . Miss Sandison , who is eighteen years of age is champion  of Bengal an all-India , and has held these titles since 1928.

Molla Bjurstedt (Mallory)
After winning the bronze medal for singles tennis at the Stockholm Olympics in 1912, Norwegian Molla Bjurstedt quietly immigrated to New York and entered the 1915 US Indoor Championship.  In a surprising upset, she beat three time champion Marie Wagner for the title.  
Over the course of her career, Molla won eight singles titles at the US Open.  Chris Evert is the only other woman to have won four consecutive times.
