Women’s Liberation: the process and outcome of women becoming and being free of all forms of oppression wrought by the patriarchy, including but not limited to, all forms of rape (which is assumed to have happened unless the woman expressly gave consent and never rescinded it, in perpetuity); all forms of prostitution and sex slavery; all forms of indentured servitude, including those inherent in economic class, social caste, and heterosexual marriage; discrimination in wages, housing, employment, education, freedom of movement, freedom of association; femicide; mandatory pregnancy and motherhood; PIV sex; compliance with femininity and beauty standards; terrorism; war. Additionally, any movement about women’s or female liberation has to center the oppression of the most oppressed among us, nonwhite women, poor women, lesbians, etc., as a strategy to end the oppression of all women.
